weather days. The reason may be that on gloomy days, workers are simply
less distracted by the desire to be outdoors. Harvard decision
researcher Jooa Julia Lee's findings suggest that more-flexible working
hours—allowing employees to save some of their work for when the weather
outside is less enticing—could help improve productivity |

I definitely agree with this thing that you have mentioned, “The reason may be that on gloomy days, workers are simply less distracted by the desire to be outdoors.” outdoor activity can really be a hindrance to accomplish more at work because the fun and the bond that we will get from it is priceless. We can also get recharged from a very tiring day in the office, doing our professional task. We tend to be drained after every shift. But we still deserve it, maybe once a week is enough.

On rainy days I tend to be more unproductive, because I just want to lie in bed and warm myself up with my blanket. I like these kinds of weather, it is not too hot and not too cold, I usually make myself a cup of hot chocolate and read my favorite book. During these days, I get to spend some alone time and appreciate the weather. I am more productive during the sunny days, I get more things done and the sun prevents me more to staying in my bed for too long. I know a lot people who are also unproductive during rainy days and I am glad that I am not alone on this one.
